The Vision Behind The Fragile Sphere

Hello, my name is Maggie Jensen and I am the creator of The Fragile Sphere blog.

In short, I am an avid hiker, runner, athlete, photographer and outdoor enthusiast. For the past 14 years, I have been fortunate enough to call Mill Valley, California my home. Past the surrounding coastal area and marshlands, on the inclines of Mount Tamalpais are densely forested areas filled with mature redwood trees. The beauty of my home town has contributed to my love for our environment and the animals that inhabit it .

The climate crisis is a defining issue of our time. With rising temperatures leading to degradation of our environment, increased presence of natural disasters, diminished food and water supply, and overall economic disturbance, our habits need to change. This blog reflects my interests and concerns involving our planet and what we can do as citizens to protect and preserve it. I hope through engaging with my blog posts, readers like you are able to further explore the wonders of our magnificent planet as well as the crippling effects of climate change on them.
